Indigo Scape features two types of Internet
Website Scanning to allow Websites to be checked prior to
loading Content into the Web Browser. Security Scanning checks
Websites for Content that may impact settings on your Computer
and Content Scanning checks Website Content for Swearing,
Violence or Pornography.
Security Scanning
Website Security Scanning checks a Website for Security risks
in its Content and Scripting. If Website Scanning is Enabled
then a Website will be automatically checked for Security
hazards. If any Security risks are found then a dialog and
report will be displayed to the user.
By downloading the HTML content the Website
Scanner checks the HTML code for any potential hazards that
maybe a Security risk to your Computer.
Content Scanning
Website Content Scanning checks a Website for Content based
on certain classifications and displays information about
the Website.
Content Scanner checks classifications based on:-
- Swearing
- Profanity
- Pornography
- Violence
By downloading the HTML Content the Website Scanner allows
you to check a Website prior to viewing to make sure it's
Content is suitable.
The Indigo Scape Website and Content Scanner is included
free with all versions of Indigo Scape.
